UPDATE NUMBA REMEMBERS

At a happier time Hazel and Richmond Flowers enjoyed a NUMBA function. They were killed Thursday 6/11/2009 in a head on collision in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near Frankfort Indiana state police said. Troopers responded to the crash near the exit ramp to state road 28 just after 4 p.m.

Investigators said a woman traveling southbound on I-65, for an unknown reason, drove through the median and struck a northbound car head on, sending both vehicles into the guard rail. The passenger in the south bound car, Richmond Flowers, 80 of Cincinnati was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife Hazel Fields Flowers, 83 who was driving at the time was transported to Clarion Hospital in Lafayette where she later died.

NUMBA and its members are sadden
They will be greatly missed
